DHA is a town planning business, made up of five specialist consulting teams, providing expert consultancy advice on town planning & development, transport, design, environmental impact, and infrastructure from their offices in Maidstone and Crawley.
We had worked with DHA for some time before they decided it was time to redevelop their logo and bring it up to date with their current proposition. We were tasked to provide a new logo, followed by several marketing assets in the form of stationery, case study templates, trade show banners, presentation folders and assistance on the website layout and experience.
The core part of their brief was that we needed to ensure the company did not lose any of its heritage and that its brand identity would remain immediately recognisable, yet ‘modernised. So, we agreed to keep to a similar colour and shape to the original and, as staff had previously had issues with file consistency, it needed to be easy to work with, colour correct and transferable between digital and print media.
After presenting several concept options the eventually chosen design was a unanimous winner and achieved everything that was asked of it. We ensured colour accuracy across both RGB, CMYK and Pantone colour modes.
Following the logo design, the rest of the marketing and brand assets were created, forming an aligned and consistent visual message to all that engaged with them. We are now looking to the future with DHA to help them with their growth and engagement at exhibitions.
"Vivid Pixel were tasked with freshening up our company logo, which we’d had for over 10 years and whilst still relevant felt a bit dated.
Leigh met with a group of our staff to establish what we wanted and came back with five or so ideas, from there he took the ones we liked and developed them until we were happy with the logo. He was very patient with us and accommodating of all our conflicting opinions and changing of minds!
We’ve since had lots of positive comments regarding our new logo and buy in from all our staff (including the ones that have worked for us for over 15 years and didn’t think we needed to change it in the first place).
Vivid Pixel delivered on all accounts, we now have a fresh brand, that looks more professional, yet it nods back to our previous logo so that we are still recognisable to all our clients."
